Wide receiver Anquan Boldin, the Baltimore Ravens' leading receiver during their Super Bowl run, will not attend the team's White House ceremony this week.
Unfortunately I'm going to miss a great opportunity to be with my Super Bowl team at the White House.— Anquan Boldin (@AnquanBoldin) June 3, 2013
I know those guys will proudly share our Super Bowl memories and unforgettable moments on my behalf.— Anquan Boldin (@AnquanBoldin) June 3, 2013
Instead, Boldin will participate in the 49ers' organized team activities this week.
San Francisco acquired Boldin in a March trade for a sixth-round draft pick.
He is expected to take on an even larger role in the 49ers' passing attack now that No. 1 receiver Michael Crabtree is expected to miss six months after tearing his Achilles tendon.
