SAN JOSE – The Sharks made a number of roster moves prior to their afternoon home game with St. Louis on Saturday.

Forward Tommy Wingels has been activated from injured reserve and is available for the game, while Marty Havlat has been placed on injured reserve. Wingels has not played since going face first into the boards on Feb. 23 in Dallas, missing the last five games.

Havlat is battling a lower body injury that he initially hurt on Feb. 22 in Chicago. He played the next four games, but missed the third period on March 2 against Nashville and has been out ever since.

Forward Matt Pelech and goalie Alex Stalock have been recalled from Worcester (AHL). Thomas Greiss (sore neck) is out against the Blues, so Stalock will back up Antti Niemi.

Goalie Thomas Heemskerk, who was recalled from San Francisco (ECHL) and practiced with the Sharks on Friday, has been assigned to Worcester.
