PHOENIX -- It is a very windy day in Arizona, which should lead to some bizarre Cactus League box scores. The Oakland Athletics held a previously scheduled pop up drill before heading over to Tempe to take on the Angels. There weren't any incidents.

With all the wind it's a heck of a day for Young to get his first look at right field. That's one story to monitor on Sunday. A's manager Bob Melvin says he thinks Young will be just fine, even in the crazy conditions.
"An outfielder is an outfielder, he can catch the ball anywhere," Melvin said.
On Saturday Sizemore went 1 for 2 with a walk and a strikeout in his first game since September 28, 2011. Now he will get his first crack at playing the infield since that date.
"I wanted to break him in and get him some at-bats yesterday in the DH role, now we'll get him out on the field," Melvin said. "It didn't look like yesterday there were any ill effects."
Sizemore is engaged in a position battle with Jemile Weeks, but it's all business as the two can often be spotted hanging out in the clubhouse together. In 93 games with the A's in 2011, Sizemore hit 11 homers and drove in 52 runs.

Derek Norris and John Jaso are going to be the A's catching tandem this season. Should anything happen to one of them, Luke Montz will be the next in line.
"He's at this point the priority third catcher," Melvin said. "He looked pretty good yesterday. It's tough to tell in drills, but he catches the ball well, he's soft, works very well with the pitchers, he's in constant communication with them. He takes that part of it very seriously."
Montz, a minor league free agent signing, spent 2012 in Triple-A New Orleans as part of the Marlins organization. He hit displayed some pop with 29 home runs and 74 RBI.
Yoenis Cespedes took batting practice again with the weight on his bat. After he got done hitting he couldn't pry it off. He and Young took turns trying to get it off. At one point Cespedes tried to use the batting cage as leverage and accidentally rolled it forward with Josh Reddick hitting. It was a pretty comical sequence of events.
