The A's lineup is set for their series opener against the Tampa Bay Rays:

Oakland A's

1. Coco Crisp (S) CF
2. John Jaso (L) C
3. Seth Smith (L) DH
4. Jed Lowrie (S) SS
5. Brandon Moss (L) 1B
6. Chris Young (R) LF
7. Josh Reddick (L) RF
8. Josh Donaldson (R) 3B
9. Eric Sogard (L) 2B
LHP -- Brett Anderson (1-2, 4.34)

Instant analysis: Coco Crisp is back in center field. He was the team's designated hitter on Tuesday, and was able to take the last two days off to rest his strained left groin. Crisp hit a triple on Tuesday and didn't look limited when running around the bases at top speed.

Josh Reddick has moved down to the seventh spot in the lineup. He is hitting .111 in the five games since returning from his sprained right wrist. He has been able to draw four walks and drive in three runs, but of the 11 outs he's made, eight have been strikeouts.

Brandon Moss was reinstated from the paternity list. He is tied for the team lead with 13 RBI.

One to watch:

Jed Lowrie has been one of the most consistent hitters in the A's lineup. At this point, he is hitting every type of pitch that opposing pitchers are throwing his way. Lowrie is hitting .387 against fastballs, .429 against breaking balls, and .286 against change-ups.

Worth noting:

Crisp is 3 for 7 in his career against Cobb. He is also on an 11-game hitting streak.

Tampa Bay Rays

1. Desmond Jennings (R) CF
2. Kelly Johnson (L) LF
3. Ben Zobrist (S) RF
4. Evan Longoria (R) 3B
5. Shelley Duncan (R) DH
6. Sean Rodriguez (R) 1B
7. Ryan Roberts (R) 2B
8. Jose Lobaton (S) C
9. Yunel Escobar (R) SS
RHP -- Alex Cobb (1-1, 1.93)
