BOX SCORE

The Sacramento Kings fell to 0-4 with a 92-54 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves Wednesday in the opening round of the 2013 NBA Summer League Tournament in Las Vegas.

The Kings scored just 10 points in the first quarter and didn’t score more than 17 in any quarter.

Ben McLemore, the Kings’ first-round pick, finished with one point on 0-for-8 shooting, including four missed three-point attempts.

Will Clyburn was the only Sacramento player to finish with double-digit points (15) and added three rebounds.

First-year head coach Mike Malone was not pleased with his team’s performance.

“The effort we put forth tonight was embarrassing,” Malone said after his team shot just 30 percent (20-67) from the field.

The Kings will face the New Orleans Pelicans Friday in the consolation round.
