The Houston Astros have reached a three-year deal with right-handed reliever Luke Gregerson worth $18.5 million, according to a USA Today report.
The contract reportedly includes incentives to reach $21 million overall and makes Gregerson the third-richest reliever in baseball with a record deal for a non-closer.
Gregerson, 30, went 5-5 with a 2.12 ERA over 72 games for the A's last season after signing a one-year, $5.1 million contract.
The six-year veteran is expected to play a key role in a bullpen anchored by closer Chad Qualls.
