The A’s optioned infielder Rangel Ravelo to Triple-A Nashville and infielder Renato Nuñez to Double-A Midland, the club announced Monday.
The A’s now have 49 players in camp, which does not include two players on the 60-day disabled list. That includes 34 players on the 40-man roster, which is full, and 15 non-roster invitees. The breakdown includes 24 pitchers, five catchers, 13 infielders and seven outfielders.
Nunez, the No. 4 ranked prospect in the A's system according to Baseball America, had collected three hits in 16 at-bats this spring.

On March 7, with former 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh serving as first base coach for the A's, Nunez delivered a walk-off hit against the Angels.
Ravelo, acquired from the White Sox in the jeff Samardzija trade, underwent surgery on his right wrist on Friday. The 22-year-old is considered the No. 9 prospect in the A's system according to Baseball America.
