OAKLAND – A’s shortstop Jed Lowrie left Sunday’s game after four innings with a left foot contusion.
Lowrie was hit in the left foot by a pitch from the Phillies’ A.J. Burnett in the bottom of the first, but stayed in the game and walked in the third. He was replaced defensively by Nick Punto to start the top of the fifth.
Lowrie’s status wasn’t immediately known.
The A’s and Phillies were tied 6-6 in the sixth inning.
