Infielder Ryon Healy entered the 2016 season as the No. 22 ranked prospect in the A's minor league system, according to Baseball America.
But on Tuesday, the 24-year-old was announced as the lone representative of the A's named to the MLB Futures Game to be held on July 10 at Petco Park, the site of the MLB All-Star Game.
Healy was named to U.S. Team roster.
The Futures Game is a showcase of some of the best prospects in the minor leagues. In 2015, infielders Matt Olson and Renato Nunez represented the A's in Cincinnati.
In 75 games between Double-A Midland and Triple-A Nashville this season, Healy is hitting .342/.399/.591 with 27 double, 13 home runs and 59 RBI.
Since joining Nashville on May 17, Healy is hitting .346 with five home runs and 25 RBI.
The A's selected Healy in the third round of the 2013 MLB Draft out of Oregon.
