OAKLAND -- The Oakland A’s reinstated outfielder Coco Crisp from the 15-day disabled list, the club announced Wednesday.
Crisp was placed on the 15-day DL May 1 retroactive to April 30 with a strained left hamstring. He was batting .283 with five home runs and 12 RBI in 24 games before injuring the hamstring in the 13th inning of the A’s 19-inning game against Los Angeles April 29.
At the time of the injury, he ranked second in the American League in runs (24), tied for second in stolen bases (8), third in extra base hits (16), tied for fourth in doubles (10) and walks (17), tied for seventh in total bases (55) and eighth in slugging (.556).
The DL stint was the seventh of his career, his fourth in four seasons with the A’s.
