Comcast SportsNet California’s regular season coverage begins with the A’s season and home opener against the Texas Rangers on Monday, April 6 at 7 p.m.
Comprehensive A’s coverage on Comcast SportsNet California against playoff contenders include six games against the 2014 A.L. Champion Kansas City Royals (April 17, 18, 19; June 26, 27, 28), nineteen matchups versus 2014 A.L. West Division Champion and rival Los Angeles Angels (April 20, 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, 30; June 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21; August 31; September 1, 2, 28, 29, 30), two contests against the 2014 A.L. Central Division Champion Detroit Tigers (May 26; June 2), and six contests against the 2014 A.L. East Champion Baltimore Orioles (August 3, 4, 14, 15, 16, 17). For the tenth season, the Emmy Award winning duo of Glen Kuiper (play-by-play) and Ray Fosse (color analyst) will return to call the majority of the A’s games on Comcast SportsNet California.
A’s interleague play includes six games against the cross-bay rival and 2014 World Series Champion San Francisco Giants (July 24, 25, 26; September 25, 26, 27) and match-ups against four N.L. West teams – 2014 N.L. West Division Champion Los Angeles Dodgers (July 28, 29; August 18, 19), the Arizona Diamondbacks (August 28, 29, 30), the Colorado Rockies (June 29, 30), and the San Diego Padres (June 15, 17).
In addition to the 144 regular season games, Comcast SportsNet California will air two spring training games – against the Chicago White Sox on Sunday, March 8 at 1 p.m. from Hohokam Stadium and against the Giants on Thursday, April 2 at 7 p.m. from AT&T Park.
Prior to the games, A’s Pregame Live will provide a preview of the upcoming contest, exclusive pregame interviews, feature stories on A’s players and the latest team news. Immediately following the game, A’s Postgame Live will provide in-depth game analysis, game highlights, clubhouse interviews with coaches and players, player reactions and a preview of the next contest.
