SAN FRANCISCO –- A’s left fielder Coco Crisp confirmed he is scheduled for surgery on Friday to remove bone chips from his right elbow.
Though the reported timetable is six to eight weeks for recovery, he expressed hope that he could return before then.
“We won’t know until after the surgery,” he said. “The initial (thought) is that they’re not that severe of bone chips.”
