Springer sat out Wednesday night's game against the Rangers in order to be evaluated for a possible concussion.
The second-year outfielder left Tuesday's game after making a spectacular catch for the last out of the seventh inning as he ran into the wall. Springer slowly came off the field under his own power and was replaced the next inning.
Springer is hitting .192 with four home runs and 12 RBIs this season. Colby Rasmus replaced him in the lineup Wednesday.
