A's pitcher Grant Balfour believes in the power of the mind, and let his patented "Balfour Rage" loose to his teammates before the team's walk-off victory against the Tigers. Balfour explained how he told his teammates they were going to "...rock Valverde's world and walk-off on the Tigers," and emphasizes how much he and his teammates want to win.
"I was telling the guys -- and no disrespect to them -- but we're going to walk off tonight, because that's what we do. I said 'Believe it, believe it -- see yourself run on that field, everyone of you put your mind to it and believe it, see yourself on that field with a walk-off victory. Just see it and believe it.'
