Patrick Willis underwent surgery on his injured toe 10 days ago on Nov. 21. On Monday, he took to social media to post a photo of his new mode of transportation -- a knee-walker.
The post was accompanied by the following message:
"My new wheels at the moment!!!! I don't move fast but I once heard "slow motion is better than no motion" hope u all are having a great day! #willnotbedenied #alwaysbelieve #blessed"
Willis appeared to be at a mall, boasting a big smile as he took care of his holiday shopping.
Willis, 29, was placed on season-ending injured reserve after collecting an interception, three passes defended and 29 tackles in six games this year.
