SANTA CLARA – All-Pro linebacker Patrick Willis, who went through rehab work on a side field as his teammates warmed up, eventually was paced through a limited practice, the 49ers reported Thursday to the NFL.
Earlier Thursday, 49ers defensive coordinator Vic Fangio said he believed there was a “better than 50-50 chance” Willis will play Sunday night against the Houston Texans. Willis missed last week’s game against the St. Louis Rams due to a groin strain.
