SANTA CLARA -– Tight end Vernon Davis and right tackle Anthony Davis are back in action for the 49ers.
Vernon Davis, who missed last week’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals with an ankle injury, will be available for the 49ers on Sunday against the unbeaten Philadelphia Eagles at Levi’s Stadium.

And the 49ers’ run-blocking receives an added boost with the return of Anthony Davis. He did not play in the exhibition season due to offseason shoulder surgery and has been sidelined with a hamstring injury for the first three regular-season games. Jonathan Martin started the first three games of the season in place of Davis.
Backup tight end Vance McDonald, who on Friday declared himself ready to play after missing last week with a knee injury, was among the 49ers’ seven inactive players. Derek Carrier will serve as the 49ers’ No. 2 tight end.
Cornerback Tramaine Brock (toe) is out, and his status for next week’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs is also in question.
Defensive lineman Tank Carradine, a second-round pick in 2013, is inactive for the third time in four weeks despite the team’s struggles getting pressure on the quarterback.
