Someone is going to make history Sunday, regardless of which team wins.
Whenever history is impacted, a championship event always takes on a higher level of meaning.
Last year, Seattle took away an important moment from Denver quarterback Peyton Manning when the Seahawks dominated Super Bowl XLVIII by a score of 43-8.
In the process, however, the Seahawks' lone accomplishment was that they won the franchise's first Super Bowl championship. Other than that, nothing very historical took place.
