Chip Kelly's staff in San Francisco expanded on Wednesday, as the 49ers new head coach made another hire.
Dana Bible was brought in to an undetermined position, a source confirmed to CSNBayArea.com's Matt Maiocco.
Bible has a combined 36 years of coaching experience, both in the college and pro ranks, working exclusively on offense.

His last gig was with NC State from 2007 to 2012 where he specialized in working with the wide receivers and quarterbacks. Bible was the team's offensive coordinator before taking over as an interim head coach in 2012.
He also worked with the Wolfpack from 1983 to 1985 as a quarterbacks and wide receivers coach.
From 1999 to 2006, Bible oversaw the offense at Boston College. He was with Stanford as an offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach from 1995 to 1997 before that. The coach arrived there after putting in a year with the Cincinnati Bearcats in 1994.
Bible had two runs with Miami (Ohio), working as an offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach in 1989, and a wide receivers coach in 1981.
Bible's brief NFL experience includes stints with the Cincinnati Bengals (QB coach, 1990-92) and Philadelphia Eagles (OC, 1998).
Bible and Kelly first met at a summer camp at Boston College in 1999, according to Philly.com's Jeff McLane.
The hiring of Bible was first reported by ESPN's Adam Caplan.
