The San Francisco 49ers want everyone who attends a game at their new stadium in Santa Clara to be able to share their experiences of the $1.2 billion structure right away.

The stadium, which is scheduled to open prior to the 2014 season, will be outfitted with a wireless network strong enough to handle all 68,500 fans in attendance using the network at the same time, according to a report on ProFootballTalk.com.

In the age of smartphones and tablets, having reliable and powerful access to internet during a game has become vitally important to fans.

According to the report, the host of this year's Super Bowl, the Superdome in New Orleans, had a wireless network that was supposed to support 30,000 simultaneous users, but the network overloaded at 8,260 users.
