With their offensive line in shuffle mode, having taken a beating in their 2015 preseason debut vs. the Broncos, the Seahawks have reached out for Pro Bowl help.
Free-agent guard Evan Mathis is scheduled to visit with Seattle on Saturday, according to multiple reports.
Mathis, 33, is a two-time Pro Bowler and one-time first-team All-Pro with 10 years of experience.
The 6-foot-5, 304-pound guard has played for four teams over his NFL career, suiting up for the Panthers, Bengals, Dolphins and Eagles.
Mathis is reportedly drawing interest from several other teams as well as the regular season nears.
