While the Seahawks have lost several coordinators, the organization is dedicated to retaining its most important coach, Pete Carroll.
Seattle is renegotiating Carroll's contract with the hopes of an extension, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Friday.
The 64-year-old, who is the oldest active coach in the league, is entering the final year of a three-year deal.

Carroll has been with the Seahawks since 2010. In his last four seasons, the team has finished with 10 or more wins.
His win percentage since rejoining the league after a successful stint at USC is at a commendable .625.
The Seahawks won a Super Bowl in 2013 under his watch and returned to another the following year.
Pete Carroll is entering the final year of his contract in 2016, and the #Seahawks are working with him on an extension, I'm told.
