FOXBORO -- Rob Gronkowski was carted off the Gillette Stadium turf in the third quarter of New England's game with the Cleveland Browns Sunday.
After reeling in a 21-yard catch from Tom Brady, Gronkowski took a hard hit to the right knee from Browns defensive back TJ Ward. Gronkowski lay on the ground for several moments before being helped to his feet by Patriots medical staff and fellow tight end Matthew Mulligan.
