Former San Francisco 49ers linebacker Nick Moody was in the news for all the wrong reasons Monday.
Moody, who spent the 2013 and 2014 seasons with the 49ers, has reportedly been suspended the first four games of the 2016 season for violating NFL policy.

In his two seasons with the 49ers, Moody suited up in 20 games and recorded 25 total tackles. He was drafted in the sixth round of the 2013 NFL Draft by San Francisco.
The 49ers cut Moody from their 53-man roster on Sept. 4, 2015. One week later, he signed a deal to the Seahawks' practice squad.
Ian Rappoport of NFL Network was first to report the suspension.
