SANTA CLARA –- Coach Jim Harbaugh kicked another starter off the practice field Sunday for getting too physical with a teammate.
On Friday, Harbaugh banished respected veteran wide receiver Anquan Boldin to the locker room after he took a swipe at cornerback Darryl Morris when tempers flared.
After a day off on Saturday, things got a little too rough for Harbaugh’s taste when cornerback Chris Culliver leveled receiver David Reed at the sideline after a short pass completion.

Harbaugh stopped practice and warned against any cheapshots and reminded everyone to keep their teammates from hitting the ground.
He ordered Culliver to the sideline to watch the remainder of practice.
Defensive line coach Jim Tomsula was the first to talk with Culliver on the sideline, followed by NaVorro Bowman, Vernon Davis, Aldon Smith and Ahmad Brooks. Harbaugh and Culliver later spoke at the end of practice as they left the field.
Here are some other notes and observations from Sunday’s practice:
--Rookie outside linebacker Aaron Lynch took part in his first full practice after being limited due to a hamstring strain. Lynch had a strong practice, which began with his beating of tight end Vance McDonald in a one-on-one pass-rush drill.
--Lynch also broke up a Colin Kaepernick while in coverage against Jewel Hampton on a wheel route.
--Defensive lineman Tony Jerod-Eddie knocked tackle Jonathan Martin on his backside during a pass-rush drill. Jerod-Eddie again beat Martin a short time later.
--Receiver Bruce Ellington ran a slant-and-go against Dontae Johnson for a touchdown pass of approximately 40 yards from Josh Johnson.

--Kaepernick and Vernon Davis had their best day together with four pass completions in 11-on-11 drills, including a touchdown pass on a deep corner route against the coverage of linebacker Nick Moody.
--The best defensive play of the day came when defensive lineman Demarcus Dobbs dropped into coverage from the 15-yard line and jumped high for an interception on Kaepernick’s pass intended for Davis.
--Linebacker Chris Borland had good coverage against McDonald in the back of the end zone on a Kaepernick pass. McDonald made a leaping attempt but could not hold on.
--Safety D.J. Campbell intercepted a Kaepernick pass intended for Ellington that was deflected by cornerback Kenneth Acker.
