The 49ers signed nine of their 10 draft picks to contracts on Monday. A day later, the team issued jersey numbers to those players, as well as to nine undrafted rookies.
Among the numbers the 49ers issued were those that previously belonging to Michael Crabtree and Mike Iupati. The 49ers gave No. 15 to rookie wide receiver DeAndre Smelter and No. 77 to offensive lineman Trent Brown.
The 49ers have yet to issue Nos. 21 and 52, which belonged to Frank Gore and Patrick Willis.
First-round draft pick Arik Armstead has yet to be issued a number. He is scheduled to arrive Friday for the team’s rookie minicamp.
