Running back Marcus Lattimore, who has been participating fully in the 49ers’ offseason program, is eligible to participate in the team’s rookie camp, too.
Because Lattimore spent no time on the 49ers’ 53-man roster as a rookie, he can participate fully when the rookies hit the Santa Clara practice field Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The 49ers selected Lattimore in the fourth-round of the 2013 draft after he sustained a gruesome knee injury in his final year at South Carolina that ended his college career. He practiced during the allowable three-week window late in the season but returned to the non-football injury list to end the year.
There is no official word from the 49ers how much Lattimore will participate in the rookie camp.
Here are the non-rookies that are allowed to participate in the rookie camp, according to the 49ers:
RB Marcus Lattimore
WR Chuck Jacobs
OL Carter Bykowski
OL Luke Marquardt
OL Al Netter
DL Mike Purcell
P Colton Schmidt
Defensive lineman Lawrence Okoye is not eligible to participate in the camp because he earned an accrued NFL season because he was injured at the end of training camp and spent the season on injured reserve.
Defensive linemen Tank Carradine and Quinton Dial appeared on the 49ers’ 53-man roster as rookies, which makes them ineligible to participate in this weekend’s rookie camp.
Here is a list of the rookies on the 49ers' roster:
QB Kory Faulkner
RB: Carlos Hyde
FB Trey Millard (rehabbing ACL)
WR Bruce Ellington
TE Asante Cleveland
C Marcus Martin
C/G Dillon Farrell
G Fouimalo Fonoti

In addition, many rookies and first-year players are expected to take part in the minicamp on a tryout basis, including wide receiver Jerry Rice Jr. (UNLV) and former Stanford linebacker Chase Thomas.
