Plenty of healthy sports-fueled hatred has recently been shared between Seattle and San Francisco. A recent trip north from 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick is sure to stir the pot.
Kaepernick, 27, posted a photo to Instagram this weekend with the caption: "Seattle I rock with you..... you showed ya boy love this weekend! #SleeplessInSeattle #YallGoodInMyBook #WeCanBeefTwiceAYearTho #AppreciateTheHospitality"
The accompanying photo is of a message -- "Aston Manor welcomes Colin Kaepernick!" -- which places Kaepernick at a downtown Seattle nightclub Saturday night.
TMZ gathered more information about Kaepernick's trip. Apparently, Aston Manor invited Kaepernick to be its VIP guest Saturday night after learning the quarterback was in town.
Kaepernick, who showed up with Seahawks receiver Ricardo Lockette and safety Kam Chancellor, was comped three bottles of champagne, and since he is currently preparing for the 49ers' upcoming season, he passed on the kindness and had the club gift his bottles to a bachelorette party celebrating nearby.
