Still, Iupati isn't trying to rub it in. He posted a heartfelt message to fans on Facebook Thursday afternoon.
"I want to say thank you to all the 49er Faithfuls for an amazing 5 seasons together," Iupati wrote. "My family and I will be forever grateful to have been apart of the 49er Organization. Thank you for all the love and support as I begin this new chapter in my career in Arizona.
"It's very sad for my family and I to leave but football is a very short career you got to make the most of it. Thanks again and much love."
Iupati, 27, is a three-time Pro Bowler and was named First-Team All Pro in 2012.
