SANTA CLARA -– Running back Carlos Hyde remained out of practice Wednesday due to the stress fracture in his foot that has kept him out of action since Oct. 22.
Despite missing the past three games, Hyde remains as the 49ers' leading rusher with 470 yards and three touchdowns. The 49ers have not scored a rushing touchdown since Hyde's two-yard run in the fourth quarter against the New York Giants on Oct. 11 -- the game in which Hyde sustained the foot fracture.
Tight end Garrett Celek did not practice due to a high-ankle sprain. He is not expected to be available for Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears. Linebacker Michael Wilhoite also sat out of practice with an ankle injury.

Outside linebacker Ahmad Brooks took part in limited practice but has been cleared to play Sunday after missing last Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals with a concussion he sustained in the previous game against the Seattle Seahawks.
