The 49ers this season will have to deal with an evolving power in the West in the Los Angeles Rams.
The team used the No. 1 overall choice in the 2016 NFL Draft to select Cal quarterback Jared Goff, while spending later-round picks to provide him with weapons.
One existing threats on the Rams, though, could be set to break out this season: wide receiver and returner Tavon Austin.
Head coach Jeff Fisher this offseason said, "This offense has been redisgned to make sure that (Austin) gets the football."

The 25-year-old receiver and former eighth overall draft pick will be entering his fourth NFL season in 2016.
Austin is coming off a year in which he posted career bests in targets (87), receptions (52), receiving yards (434), receiving touchdowns (5) and rushing touchdowns (4).
Now that Goff has joined to complete the battery with bruising running back Todd Gurley, pressure may be taken off Austin.
