Veteran center Jonathan Goodwin, who started every game the past three seasons with the 49ers, made a free-agent visit to the New Orleans Saints on Wednesday, according to multiple reports.
Goodwin, a 12-year veteran, spent five seasons with the Saints before signing a three-year contract with the 49ers in 2011. He has made 86 consecutive starts, third-most among active NFL centers.
Goodwin is the only 49ers free agent who remains unsigned. The 49ers have shown no interest in re-signing him, as they signed backup center Daniel Kilgore to a contract extension earlier this offseason.

Goodwin was chosen by his teammates as the winner of the 2013 Ed Block Courage Award for exemplifying a commitment to sportsmanship and courage.
