SEATTLE – The 49ers are fearful starting defensive lineman Glenn Dorsey sustained a significant knee injury when he went down on the first play of the 49ers’ 29-13 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.
Dorsey is scheduled to undergo an MRI examination on Monday at Stanford, 49ers coach Jim Tomsula confirmed.

When asked if there was a concern that Dorsey sustained a torn ACL in his right knee, Tomsula said, “Yes. . . they are checking that. I don’t want to forecast because I don’t know, but they are checking for that.”
Rookie Arik Armstead replaced Dorsey along the 49ers' defensive line.
