SANTA CLARA -– Cornerback Chris Culliver went through limited practice on Thursday as he progresses through the NFL’s protocol on concussions.
Culliver wore a blue non-contact jersey as he resumed football activities. He will be required to remain symptom-free through a contact simulation prior to Sunday’s game to be cleared to play against the Chicago Bears.
Cornerback Tramaine Brock is not likely to be available for Sunday’s game. Perrish Cox is expected to replace him in the starting lineup.
Meanwhile, the Bears’ top three wide receivers did not practice on Thursday: Brandon Marshall (ankle), Alshon Jeffery (hamstring) and Josh Morgan (groin).
