Cornerback Perrish Cox, who led the 49ers with five interceptions last season, is visiting the second of three known teams that are interested in his services as a free agent.
Cox is meeting with the Cleveland Browns on Thursday, a source confirmed. He visited with Washington coaches and officials on Wednesday. Cox is scheduled to travel to meet with the Tennessee Titans on Friday.
Cox, a four-year veteran, started a career-high 14 games last season for the 49ers. He saw most of his action at left cornerback after Tramaine Brock sustained a hyperextended toe early in the 49ers’ season-opener against the Dallas Cowboys.
The 49ers’ other free-agent cornerback Chris Culliver posted a photo on social media Wednesday night that showed him on a plane, presumably to take a visit of his own. There have been no confirmed reports of Culliver meeting with interested teams.
