Colin Kaepernick's No. 7 jersey was the best-selling NFL jersey from April 1st through June 30th, edging out division rival quarterback Russell Wilson, who jumped from 14th last year to second this summer in jersey sales.
Kaepernick won the starting job from Alex Smith last season, throwing for 1,814 yards and 10 touchdowns in 13 regular season games in the process.
The 25-year-old led the 49ers to their first Super Bowl appearance since 1994, where he threw for 302 yards and a touchdown in a 31-34 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
Kaepernick's rapid rise to stardom has resulted in a busy offseason for the Milwaukee native. So far this summer, he has posed nude for ESPN The Magazine's Body Issue, signed endorsement deals with MusclePharm and Jaguar, and been the target of criticism for sporting a Miami Dolphins hat.

Now, Kaepernick can add owning the NFL's most popular jersey to the list.
