The Chiefs waived wide receiver A.J. Jenkins, the team announced on Tuesday.
The 49ers selected Jenkins 30th overall in the 2012 NFL Draft.
He appeared in just three games as a rookie with San Francisco and didn't catch a single pass.
On Aug. 19, 2013, the 49ers shipped Jenkins to the Chiefs for Jon Baldwin -- the Chiefs' 2011 first round pick.
Over two years in Kansas City, Jenkins caught just 17 passes for 223 yards.
Baldwin caught three passes for 28 yards with the 49ers in 2013, and was cut on Aug. 3, 2014.
