Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll denied the report that the team tried to lure former NFL wide receiver Randy Moss out of retirement.
"Thanks for asking that. That never happened," Carroll said in his weekly press conference, refuting a Fox Sports report. "That never happened."

"I won't say that I didn't get a call from T.O. [Terrell Owens], though," Carroll joked.
Moss, 37, last played for the 49ers in 2012. He is now an analyst for Fox Sports.
In his 14 NFL seasons, Moss accrued 15,292 receiving yards (third all-time) and 156 receiving touchdowns (second all-time).
