The Denver Broncos and All-Pro linebacker Von Miller have agreed to terms on a new contract.

The new deal spans six seasons and is worth a reported $114.5 million with $70 million guaranteed.

With the new contract, Miller becomes the highest paid defensive player in the history of the National Football League.

In 72 games with the Broncos, Miller has 60 sacks, 260 tackles and two career touchdowns. He was named Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl 50, a 24-10 win over the Carolina Panthers. He is the third fastest player in NFL history to reach 50 career sacks.
