Editor's note: NBC Sunday Night Football color commentator Cris Collinsworth was asked if he believed the 49ers are still Super Bowl contenders. Below is a transcript of his response:
"Yes. I still think they are Super Bowl contenders, but I don't think it's going to be easy because they haven't been able to find that passing game yet, but I'm still kind of hopeful that we will see it once all those wide receivers get back on the field.
"If Crabtree can get healthy, Manningham gets healthy, then the Frank Gore combination to go along with the passing game, go along with the defense, and the mobile quarterback is the right formula to win a Super Bowl.

"They had a great opportunity to win it last year, and we've seen in the past, I mean we've seen Pittsburgh, we've seen the New York Giants, teams come from five or even six-seeds and go on to win it all. It doesn't really matter who you're playing in getting to the playoffs.
"It's how healthy are you when you get there and how you play."
