SANTA CLARA –- Stanford wide receiver Devon Cajuste, who could project as a tight end in the NFL, has agreed to terms to join the 49ers as an undrafted rookie, he announced on Twitter.
Cajuste (6 foot 3 ¾, 234 pounds) ran the 40-yard dash in 4.62 seconds at the NFL Scouting Combine. General manager Trent Baalke confirmed the 49ers' intention to sign Cajuste.
"He's outstanding, and obviously I have a great relationship with David (Shaw)," 49ers coach Chip Kelly said of the Stanford coach. "I went to his (Cajuste's) pro day, and he came down to our pro day. He's a tough matchup as a receiver, he's so big, he's strong, he's physical, he has great catch radius. If we were to sign him as a free agent, we'd be really excited."
He finished his Stanford career with 90 receptions for 1,589 yards and 14 touchdowns in 40 games. As a senior, Cajuste caught 27 pases for 383 yards and three touchdowns.

Balducci (6-4, 310) rejoins Oregon teammates Arik Armstead and DeForest Buckner, as well as former head coach Chip Kelly and defensive line coach Jerry Azzinaro, with the 49ers. He agreed to terms with the 49ers as an undrafted rookie, his agent told CSNBayArea.com. Balducci recorded a career-best 40 tackles with six tackles for loss to earn honorable mention All-Pac-12.
--OLB Kevin Anderson, Stanford
Anderson announced his agreement to terms with the 49ers via Twitter. Anderson (6-4, 244) was named honorable-mention All-Pac-12 as a fifth-year senior. He was a team captain. He played in 10 games and recorded 40 tackles with two sacks.
--WR Bryce Treggs, Cal
Treggs announced his agreement with the 49ers via Twitter. Treggs (6-0, 185) caught 195 passes in 46 career games at Cal for 2,506 yards and 15 touchdowns. As a senior, Treggs had 45 receptions for 956 yards (21.2 average) with seven touchdowns. In his first three seasons, his best average was 11.2 per catch.
--DL Darren Lake, Alabama
Lake (6-3, 315) agreed to terms on a deal with the 49ers, according to the Houston Chronicle. He recorded 26 tackles in is four-year career in 42 games.
--DE Jay Fanaika, Utah
Fanaika (6-1 3/4, 271) announced on Twitter he was signing with the 49ers. He was an honorable-mention All-Pac-12 performer. He recorded 53 tackles with 10.5 tackles for loss and four sacks.
--DL Demetrius Cherry, Arizona State
Cherry (6-6, 300) announced on Twitter his agreement with the 49ers. He transferred to Arizona State from Contra Costa College. He appeared in 25 games at ASU with eight starts. Ge recorded 37 tackles with 4.5 for losses. He had three fumble recovers and a defensive touchdown along with three passes defensed.
--S Jered Bell, Colorado
Bell agreed to terms with the 49ers, Colorado coach Mike MacIntyre reported via Twitter. He came back in 2015 after missing the 2014 season with a torn ACL. Bell finished his career with seven interceptions. He saw action last season in all 13 games with six starts at free safety. He recorded three interceptions and 43 tackles.
--DE Lenny Jones, Nevada
Jones agreed to terms with the 49ers, according to KOLO-TV in Reno. Jones finished his Wolfpack career with 149 tackles, 31.5 of which were behind the line of scrimmage. He also recorded 19 sacks, ranking fifth in school history. He was named to the All-Mountain West second team.
--K John Lunsford, Liberty
Lunsford, who was invited to the NFL Scouting Combine, announced on Twitter he was signing with the 49ers as a priority free agent. He finished his college career with 12 field goals of 50 yards or more during his four-year career. The past two years he made three 57-yard field goals and a 60-yarder, but he made just 8 of 23 attempts from 40 to 49 yards.
