SANTA CLARA – Quarterback Colin Kaepernick has not missed any practice time but he is back on the 49ers’ injury report this week with an undisclosed foot injury.
Kaepernick has taken part in full practices and is expected to play without any limitations Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals.
However, 49ers offensive coordinator Greg Roman declined Thursday to shed any light on Kaepernick’s condition.
”I’m not going to really talk about the injury report,” Roman said. “I’m going to respectfully leave that to coach Harbaugh or (head trainer) Jeff Ferguson.”
Coach Jim Harbaugh last spoke to the media on Wednesday – about four hours before the team concludes practice and the practice participation report is released. Ferguson is not allowed to speak with the media, per team policy.
Kaepernick first appeared on the 49ers’ injury report with a foot ailment before the Week 2 game against the Seattle Seahawks.
