SANTA CLARA -- Rookie center Marcus Martin left the 49ers' game Sunday in the fourth quarter with a left knee injury.
A couple of hours after the game, Martin wrote on Instagram: "What don't kill me, will only make me stronger! I'll be back better than ever before, thank you everyone for the well wishes!! Love all y'all"
No further details were available.
Martin, a third-round draft pick from USC, got rolled up on in the pile on a running play. He went down to the ground in obvious pain. He appeared to be wearing a knee brace that offensive line coach Mike Solari makes mandatory during practices.
A cart was brought onto the field to take him back to the locker room for further observation.

Immediately following the game, coach Jim Harbaugh said he had yet to receive word on the severity of the injury. Martin was expected to undergo further observation and, possibly, an MRI examination.
“I don’t know," Harbaugh said. "No indications, yet. (I) don’t have any indications of how serious it is.”
Martin is slated to be the backup center behind presumptive starter Daniel Kilgore.
