SANTA CLARA – The 49ers will spend more time this week inside Levi’s Stadium as they prepare to face the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night.
The 49ers have a practice inside Levi’s Stadium scheduled for Tuesday afternoon. This week is the first time the 49ers have practiced inside their new home since the start of the regular season.
“We had a little walk-through in there yesterday (Monday) as well with the lights,” 49ers offensive coordinator Greg Roman said. “The day starts a little later for these night games."
Roman made reference to a quote Jim Harbaugh has cited in the past, "If you're going to fight in the North Atlantic, you should train in the North Atlantic."
The 49ers play the Seahawks on Thursday night. The 49ers played a home night game on Week 2 against the Chicago Bears, losing 28-20.
The 49ers are 3-2 at home this season. They have arguably played better on the road, where they are 4-2.
“I don’t know if we’ve played our best football yet, and certainly not at home,” Roman said. “I definitely think there’s a bit of an adjustment period there, breaking it in.”
