SANTA CLARA -– Jonathan Martin will make his seventh start at right tackle this season, as the 49ers ruled out Anthony Davis from playing Thursday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks with a concussion.
Davis has missed games this season due to hamstring and knee injuries. This is the second game he will miss due to a concussion he sustained on the 49ers’ final play of the Nov. 16 game against the New York Giants. Davis missed the entire offseason program after undergoing shoulder surgery.

Nose tackle Glenn Dorsey will not play, as he continues to rehab from surgery to repair a torn biceps tendon in August. Quinton Dial will make his third start of the season. He took over for Ian Williams, who is on injured reserve with a fractured leg.
Derek Carrier, the 49ers’ No. 3 tight end, is also out with a foot injury. Backup tight end Vance McDonald is questionable with a back injury.
Cornerback Tramaine Brock is listed as questionable, but he will not be available for the game. He has not practiced since before the No. 9 game against the New Orleans Saints.
Defensive end Justin Smith, who did not practice, will start despite being experiencing stiffness in his back.
