SANTA CLARA -- Running back Frank Gore was listed as questionable on Friday when the 49ers released their official injury report.
Coach Jim Harbaugh said on Thursday that Gore is passing through the concussion protocol and is on pace to play Saturday night against the San Diego Chargers. Gore missed the entire second half of Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks with a concussion.
Right tackle Anthony Davis, who has missed four games with a concussion, is also listed as questionable. It’s the first time he has not been listed as “out” since he sustained his concussion Nov. 16 against the New York Giants.
Linebacker Chris Borland (ankle), running back Carlos Hyde (ankle), wide receiver Stevie Johnson (knee) and cornerback Tramaine Brock (hamstring) have been ruled out for Saturday’s game.
Wide receiver Michael Crabtree (knee) and outside linebacker Ahmad Brooks (thumb) are listed as questionable. Both players saw limited practice time this week.
