SANTA CLARA –- Cornerback Tramaine Brock has been ruled out for Monday’s game against the St. Louis Rams after not practicing for the fifth consecutive week due to a toe injury.
Brock does not figure to be available for next week’s game against the Denver Broncos, either, as the 49ers hope he will be at full strength after the bye week and for the final nine games of the regular season.

Perrish Cox will make his fifth straight start in Brock's place.
Also, right tackle Anthony Davis (knee) will not play Monday after not practicing this week. Officially, the 49ers list him as questionable. Jonathan Martin is expected start in his place.
Tight end Vernon Davis appears to be on track to return to action Monday after missing last week’s game with back spasms. Davis took part in limited practice this week. He is listed as questionable.
