SANTA CLARA -- Rookie return man Bruce Ellington and cornerback Tramaine Brock remained out of practice Wednesday after missing Sunday's game against the New York Giants.
Ellington (ankle) and Brock (hamstring) went through rehabilitation on a side field while their teammates practiced. Right tackle Anthony Davis did not practice due to a concussion. He is going through the NFL's concussion protocol, 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh said on Wednesday.

Linebacker Dan Skuta was on the practice field. He has missed the past two games with an ankle sprain.
Also, 49ers linebacker NaVorro Bowman is not expected to practice this week, as he tries to come back from a severe knee injury. Bowman's 21-day practice window was opened on Tuesday, the last day he could "return to practice" and still be eligible to play this season. The 49ers must make a decision to place Bowman on the 53-man roster or on season-ending injured reserve by Dec. 9.
