Cox and Culliver are coming off seasons in which they set career-highs in interceptions. Cox led the 49ers with five interceptions last season, while Culliver recorded four. Both players started 14 games for the 49ers last season.
McCloughan, who served as the 49ers chief of personnel from 2005 to ’10, was no longer with the organization when Cox and Culliver arrived with San Francisco.
Cox is visiting the Cleveland Browns on Thursday. He is set to meet with the Tennessee Titans on Friday.
