The 49ers removed running back Carlos Hyde from the active/non-football injury list on Wednesday.
Hyde was cleared to begin on-field work with the 49ers after missing most of the team’s offseason program with a calf strain.
As expected, Hyde will be on the field for the team’s first full-squad practice on Saturday at Levi’s Stadium.

Outside linebacker Aaron Lynch and offensive lineman Trent Brown are also expected to be removed from the active/NFI list shortly -- perhaps in time for the 49ers' practice on Saturday.
Once a player, such as Hyde, is activated off the NFI or PUP list, he is no longer eligible to return to one of those lists that season. Only players who report to training camp with injuries are eligible for NFI or PUP.
